Concordium Academy Relaunch
We’re thrilled to announce the relaunch of the Concordium Academy! You may have many questions, like “What’s new?”. Keep reading to find out and learn how to get started.
Our aim for the new Academy is to help aspiring Concordium developers learn how easy it is to build and deploy dApps on Concordium. The academy is structured so it’s easy to follow; it consists of 3 sections with step-by-step guides. Each section builds upon the other, so you don’t have to worry about your learning progression.
But that’s not all. The best part is each section includes hands-on exercises, and an NFT certificate of completion for all three levels is issued to everyone who completes a level of assignment. You can display your certificate anywhere. The Advanced Level Tutorials come with a unique certificate of completion and is rewarded up to $1500 in CCD.
Let’s break down the structure:
- Getting Started: This section helps you get acquainted with Concordium and set up your development environment.
- Beginner-Level Tutorials: Here, you’ll find practical tutorials to help you build basic dApps and get comfortable with Concordium blockchain development. After completing the tutorials, you’ll have an assignment to create a simple smart contract to practice what you’ve learned.
You get an NFT certificate of completion once you pass this module. - Mid-Level Tutorials: These tutorials build on the basics and teach you how to implement, deploy, and interact with smart contracts on Concordium. You’ll work on projects like Fractionalized NFTs, Concordium NFT Minting, and Dynamic NFTs. Afterward, you’ll have an assignment to create a dApp using WalletConnect.
You get an NFT certificate of completion once you pass this module. - Advanced Level Tutorials: In this section, you’ll explore building on Concordium further, focusing on creating a minting platform. Once you’ve completed these tutorials, you’ll be assigned to build a full-fledged dApp to allow people to participate in an ongoing auction. You get a special NFT certificate of completion and $CCDs once you pass this module.
Passing Criteria
Success in each module of the Concordium Academy depends on:
- Completion of hands-on exercises and assignments to a satisfactory standard open-sourced on GitHub following best practices.
- Adherence to the detailed guidelines provided for each level on the Academy Assignment page.
- Demonstration of solid understanding and skill development necessary for advancing to the next module.
